How to Register a Hotbit Account【PC】

First, visit our official website https://www.hotbit.io and you will see our home page as below. Click “Register” at the top right and the link will direct you to the registration page.

Register via Email

In the registration page, please enter your email address and then click on "Send" button, Hotbit will send a confirmation email to the email address you entered. A verification code will be included in the email sent to you. Please login your email account, copy the verification code from the confirmation email and paste the verification code into the box below.

For the activation process to continue, please also fill in password and tick “I agree the Terms and policy”. By entering all above information, please press “Register” and the link will redirect you to the login page.  

Then press “Login” and the link will redirect you to “Account Information” page. 

A Hotbit account has been created successfully.


Register via Phone

Please input country code and phone number as well as the sms code that sent to your phone after clicking the "Send" button.

For the activation process to continue, please also fill in password and tick “I agree the Terms and policy”. By entering all above information, please press “Register” and the link will direct you to the login page. Then you can login and it will direct you to “Account Information” page.

Note:
For your own account security, we highly recommend you to enable two-factor authentication (2FA). Hotbit platform has adopted Google Authenticator authentication and Two-Factor Authentication with SMS Verification system. You can choose your preferred authentication method for your personal use.

Google Authentication:

For iOS and Android users, please enter and search “Google authenticator” in App Store or Play Store, download and install the app.

After installing the app, please login your Hotbit account and click Account-Security Settings to enable your Google Authenticator.

Two-Factor Authentication with SMS Verification: 

Please enter your mobile number and press “Send SMS Code”. The system will automatically generate a SMS Code and send it to your mobile number by text message. After receiving your SMS code by text message, please enter the code in “SMS Code” immediately and press “Finish”.

How to Register a Hotbit Account【APP】

1. Open the Hotbit App and tap [Account].

2. Tap [Click to Login].

3. Tap [Do you have an account? Create an account?].

Register via Phone
 

1. Input country code and phone number.
2. Input the password and tap “I have read and agreed all Terms of Service and Policies”.
3. Tap "Please click capcha button". Then, drag the slider to complete the Security Verification puzzle.
4. Press “Register”.

The sms code that sent to your phone after clicking the "Register" button.

Then you can login and it will redirect you to “Account Information” page. 


Register via Email

In the registration page:

1. Enter your email address and fill in password.
2. Tap “I have read and agreed all Terms of Service and Policies”.
3. Tap "Please click capcha button". Then, drag the slider to complete the Security Verification puzzle.
4. Press “Register”.

You will receive a verification email in your inbox. Please enter the verification code.

Then you can login and it will redirect you to “Account Information” page. 

Note:

• Your password must contain at least 8 characters in length, use alphabet, number or special symbols.
• If you’ve been referred to register on Hotbit by a friend, make sure to fill in the REFERRER (optional).

How to Download Hotbit APP?

1. Visit https://www.hotbit.io  and you will find "Download" at the top right of the page, or you can visit our download page. 

• The mobile app for iOS is downloadable in the iOS App store: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/hotbit-global/id1568969341.
• The mobile app for Android is downloable in the Google Play store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=io.hotbit.shouyihl=engl=US.

Based on your mobile phone operations system, you can choose "Android Download" or "iOS Download".

2. Press GET to download it.

3. Press Open to open your Hotbit App to get started.

Introduction to KYC

Know Your Customer (KYC) is a process of identity verification, which is required for legal and regulatory purposes, as with any major exchange.
 

How to Verify account

1. Log in to your account, click on "Account", and then click "Security Settings". You can also directly visit: https://www.hotbit.io/usercenter?type=secur

2. Click "Unverified" or "Go to verify".

3. Before you start, please prepare your identity document and make sure it is valid. We also require you to agree to our processing of your personal data,

Check "I agree to the processing of my personal data" and click "NEXT" button.

4. Select the country that issued your document and your document type.

• The photo are bright and clear, easy to read.
• All corners of the document should be visible.
• Document should occupy the majority of the picture.

2. Upload your document and click "NEXT".

3. After uploading the file, just wait patiently for the review. The verification status will update automatically. If your KYC fails, you can check the reason and re-verify.

When You Need to Provide KYC

KYC is not required on Hotbit when you register, trade and withdraw. Users need to save their own 2FA code. Hotbit has a strict risk control system to ensure the security of all users assets in the platform. If the system verifies that a user has triggered a higher risk control system, Hotbit has the right to ask the user to provide KYC to ensure the security of all users funds in the platform. Therefore, you will need to provide KYC in the following situations:

1. Applying for resetting Google Authenticator Verification, SMS Verification and changing Email Verification
The user who submitted the application needs to provide the corresponding KYC and other information according to Hotbits resetting and changing requirements to complete the reset application.

2. Trigger Risk Control System
Hotbit will strictly protect users KYC data and will not use it for any other purpose.
